OUR CURRICULUM

Little Language is delighted to offer academic excellence in our bi-lingual English/Italian preschool open to children from 3 & 4 years. Our curriculum is a hands-on, thematic and literature based bi-lingual program immersing children in the Italian language naturally. Children are engaged in traditional preschool activities that develop fundamental early childhood skills such as socialization, self confidence, imagination, reasoning, listening, sharing, creativity and motor coordination. An emphasis on skills such as letter and number recognition & the alphabet are enforced through visual aids, repetition & age-appropriate activities. Music, dance, storytelling, circle time, as well as creativity through arts and crafts are conducted in English & Italian in an interactive, nurturing, stimulating playful environment. A unique aspect of our preschool is our extremely low teacher-student ratio which ensures individualized attention. We have one teacher for 6 students. Teachers are fluent and/native Italian speakers with experience in early childhood education. It is proven & we firmly believe that the early childhood years determine a child’s learning style & potential for success in later years. Little Language and its staff are committed to academic excellence and bilingualism.

The following learning modalities are addressed in our Immersion Bi-lingual Preschool Program through a sequential learning model that promotes the English & Italian language simultaneously:
